The events we celebrate and cherish from promotions in rank, commendations & honors, to graduations, weddings, births, anniversaries, baptisms, mitzvahs, holidays, reunions, and memorial services deserve to be memorialized because those are the things that best represent why we serve. Those are the things that best reflect our character, our dedication, our honor, our duty, our faith, our heroism and most important, those are the things which remind us of the immeasurable value of our sacrifice.

We recognize that like our Great Nation, our military is vast and diversified across many locations, and areas of responsibilities, using a wide range of equipment while also courageously risking life and limb on behalf of God & Country. From those in the silent service under the sea to our infantry with boots on the ground to those in the skies above, and all those behind the front lines supporting the singular mission of defending our Great Nation.
While The Helmsman’s Compass strives to celebrate all of our Community, we acknowledge that we have a very long way to go and ask for your help to please share.

Our hope is to build a vast collection of submissions from our community so those images and sentiments can be further shared throughout our community reminding us daily of exactly why we serve.
